The Gîte du Ruisseau rated, is ideally located on the “Rue de la Rosière”. Facing south with a beautiful view of the Arcs, at the edge of a forest and close to all amenities. Local Restaurants and shops are only 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot (Please tread carefully on the steep mountain paths!).
In both winter and summer, take the funicular.

Located on the “Rue de la Rosière” in Bourg Saint Maurice, this typical Savoie village is the ideal starting point to explore neighboring mountain passes, by motorbike or road bike. A haven of peace and tranquility in the summer with a multitude of outdoor sports close by: The International Center for Whitewater Sports (rafting, canoeing, hydro-speed, etc.) Alpine fishing, Downhill Mountain biking & E Bike routes, Paragliding , Trail Running, Hiking & walking routes.

Many local walking routes are within easy access from The Gîte including the “Chapel Saint-Michel” and “Fort 2000” prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking scenery.

During the ski season (December to April), the Funicular provides easy access to the Les Arcs Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne ski area ( via the Vanoise Express) connecting Bourg Saint Maurice to Arc 1600 in 7 minutes (free inter-resort shuttles from Arc 1600 to Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000). Bourg Saint Maurice is an excellent base for exploring the most beautiful ski resorts in Tarentaise (under one hour's drive). With so much to discover, one week may not be long enough!

Journey to the Gîte: Access by car (snow chains or tyres compulsory in winter) or by train (to Bourg Saint Maurice international station direct: Thalys and Eurostar)
